Choose a first goal

Create your account, establish your main planet and explore the overview. Locate your reserves, available buildings and research options. Then choose a concrete first result, such as improving one source of production or meeting the requirements for an installation. Read its cost and prerequisites before starting construction.

Find the shortage holding your plan back

Compare metal, crystal and deuterium reserves with the cost of your chosen goal. Develop the production you are missing while considering later projects. Check all three storage buildings: production cannot keep filling a reserve that has reached capacity. A balanced economy reflects your planned spending; it does not require every mine to have the same level.

Use a checklist before closing the game

Review active construction and research, expected completion times and resources needed afterward. These projects continue between visits, as do journeys already underway. Check storage room and the mission returns you are expecting. On your next visit, read reports and review finished projects before choosing another priority. This routine helps you fit planning around your available time without assuming you can watch every journey or construction continuously.

Learn to commit forces one decision at a time

Once suitable ships are available, inspect hostile bases and their forces before attacking. Try a composition in the simulator and compare possible losses with what your economy can replace. Check fuel, cargo and travel times too. Read the operation report to understand its outcome. An alliance gives you people to discuss preparations with, but membership does not guarantee victory or make your planet safe from other commanders.

Prepare colonization as a later milestone

Registration does not give you several colonies. Plan expansion after meeting the conditions displayed at the Embassy and establishing a main planet that can support the departure. Before selecting a free position, consider its local development and transport needs. Your early plan can then become a sequence: build an economy, understand a mission and prepare another foothold when you have the means to develop it.
